Patented in 1933, the ATOMIX® technology quickly established itself in bitumen emulsion processing. Since then, it has continued to evolve, powering both our industrial-scale units and laboratory pilot plants.

The ATOMIX® homogenizers, also known as colloid mills, are trusted across multiple industries for the reliable production of dispersions. During operation, the compounds to be emulsified are fed through the dual inlets of the ATOMIX® and directed onto the rotor’s curved blades. Propelled against the stator walls, the fluids break down into fine droplets—delivering stable, high-quality emulsions with remarkable consistency.
