Flow coefficient of aggregates | Sand angulometer


Specific apparatus required for determining the flow coefficient of sands (not aggregates).

The test consists of determining the flow coefficient Ecs of a sample.

For this we offer you a complete set that meets the EN 933-6 standard with an LRPC reference sand defined for sands as reference material.

(Flow time Ers = 32s)

Following the performance of 5 measurements, the Ecsi and Ecse values are defined: between Ers -2 and Ers +2. Then we carry out a flow test of our sample. (Ecsm)

We can calculate the flow coefficient Ecs of our material/sample according to the relationship Ecs = Ecsm + (Ers – Ecse)
