Resistance to wear | Micro-Deval

Determination of the wear resistance of aggregates, four identical samples of the same fraction are subjected to a determined wear cycle in contact with stainless steel balls placed inside drums also made of stainless steel set in rotation at a certain speed. The sample is normally tested in the wet state, but the test can also be carried out in the dry state. This European Standard applies to natural, artificial or recycled aggregates used in building or civil engineering.

The entire device (times, speeds, etc.) and accessories (diameter, weight, etc.) are standardized.

We offer two models, a standard model allowing the test to be carried out according to the conditions of the standard and a second including an acoustic protection hood that meets the CE safety standard.
