Resistance to fragmentation | Los Angeles


This test makes it possible to determine the resistance to fragmentation of aggregates using a “Los Angeles” abrasion machine.

A fraction of aggregates is inserted into the drum of the machine, 12 balls / balls are added standardized (Ø and weight) and the test is started during a specific number of revolutions with a speed of rotation between 30 and 33 rev / min.
