Split Cup Compatibility Test


If suspicious disuniformity appears in the split consistency specimens run a referee test: the split cup compatibility test.

To do this, pour 100 ml of each mix into 6 Oz. (177 ml) plastic-lined hot drink cups (not supplied) and allow the mix to cure for a minimum of 15 hours or until solid.

Then separate the the cured mixes into upper and lower halves and place each half into a 8 Oz. (237 ml) ointment tins and dry thorough in a forced draft oven (already propose in ISSA TB-115 – 1.0) at 121°C for 4 hours.
