Bitumen SARA Analysis | IATROSCAN® MK7s FID

The IATROSCAN® MK7s FID (Flame Ionization Detector) is a device used to easily seperate, identify and quantify the different fractions of bitumen based on a chromatographic method.

Also known as TLC-FID, the IATROSCAN® is the simplest way to analyse the SARA (Saturates, Aromatics, Resins and Asphaltenes) composition of bitumen in order to predict its colloidal stability and its compatibility with various polymers.

In partnership with Bionis, Vialab supplies the IATROSCAN® in France and Africa for bitumen applications. Visit the Bionis website to know more about other applications.
